About

I’m currently the Vice President of Engineering at Mixpanel. I have been in engineering leadership roles for over a decade. In the past, I’ve worked on messaging and tweet infrastructure at Twitter, web crawlers at Yahoo Search and game servers at Electronic Arts.

I grew up in Mumbai, and I studied Computer Engineering at the University of Mumbai. I moved to Atlanta to pursue graduate studies at Georgia Tech, where I got a masters degree in Computer Science with two specializations – Systems Engineering and Intelligent Systems. While at Georgia Tech, I was a research assistant working at the Entertainment Intelligence Lab in the School of Interactive Computing. After grad school, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, and I’ve continued living here since then.

I blog about technology, travel and food. I also enjoy drawing and painting from time to time.
